The 2022 Swan Group Christmas Show was one for the memory books! This year we celebrated in.... golf style.
On the 11th of November, the teams from Coorong Realty, Swan Brothers, Swan Earthmovers and Swan Agri Business went to the Lake Albert Golf Club Meningie to celebrate the end-of-year Christmas party.
Directors, Craig and Kerry started us off with a bang! They delivered an end-of-year re-cap, covering our team members, the highlights, accomplishments, laughs and stories from the year.
The day was filled with laughs, perfect weather, good times and good people.
The Swan Group broke into mixed teams and prepared golf carts to battle it out for the "Coorong Cup". Merv from Swan Earthmovers, and a member of the Lake Albert Golf Club, gave us the rundown of an Ambrose Competition and of course, some handy tips.
This year the Coorong Cup winners were the Rubble Raisers made up of Narelle Hincks, Jack Kluske, Brad Jeffery and Lyla Jeffery from Swan Earthmovers.
The Swan Group professional golfers spent the day battling it out. But, meanwhile there was also a trivia prize box to be won! Each team was given a list of trivia questions relevant to the Swan Group to answer! The winners of the Swan Group Trivia Competition were Nicki Fegan, Luke Medlow, Sharon Coombe and Jeff Doecke from Coorong Realty.
And for a bit of fun, a mysterious NAGA Award (worst golfers of the group) was judged on performance. Don't worry it was all for fun and no one was offended. The winners were again Nicki Fegan, Luke Medlow, Sharon Coombe and Jeff Doecke from Coorong Realty.
To finish off, there was also a Long Drive Competition and Narelle Hincks from Swan Earthmovers came in hot and took the win!
To finish off the day, the Swan Group continued celebrations at Freshies Café and Bar with a delicious cocktail dinner.
Freshies outdid themselves with a gourmet range of oysters, a buffet menu and drinks. Freshies, seriously never disappoint!

Get to know Nicki Fegen
Nicki has been working at Coorong Realty for four years. Nicki is a breath of fresh air
with her gorgeous smile and uplifting personality. Nicki is our Sales and Marketing administrator. She also manages the Coorong Cabins Facebook and Instagram pages to bring business growth to both Coorong Cabins and Coorong Realty.
Nicki also orchestrates our amazing cleaning team for our holiday rental Portfolios. Nicki is a busy woman and ensures our commercial laundry runs as smoothly as possible.

Nicki is a big enthusiast of “fat” Fridays which encourages us at Coorong Realty to take some time and treat ourselves.

What’s your favourite food? Ribs and sweet potato chips.
The thing you love most about your job I love doing admin work and feeling organised, so this job is perfect for me to get in the zone! Being around the corner from Little Local Co is also one of the perks of Coorong Realty.
Secret talent or fun fact about yourself I have travelled to over 12 different countries and can speak two languages!
If you could have a superpower, what would it be? If I had a superpower, it would be teleportation.

What’s your strangest fear? My strangest fear is Geckos.
What’s your greatest/ proudest achievement in life? My greatest achievement in life is immigrating from South Africa to give my kids a better future here in Australia.

TAILEM BEND CHRISTMAS PARADE
Tailem Bend Christmas Parade was one for the history books! 
On Saturday, the 10th of December, Tailem Bend held its annual Christmas Parade on Railway Terrace.
The street was filled with friends, families, good weather and good times!
Coorong Realty were proud to be Major Sponsors for this event! And we would like to say a BIG thank you to all involved in preparing and setting up the Christmas Parade. It was a day to remember!

The Coorong Realty Christmas tree is up!!
This year the Meningie Garden Club has taken the role of setting up the Christmas Tree Forest with the support of the Meningie Progress Association Inc
Meningie is fortunate to have such great associations, clubs and volunteers to help make these things happen! And doesn't the park look amazing! 
The Coorong Realty tree is located in the Lions Jubilee Park, Meningie, opposite Happy Daise Coffee
It is fantastic to see many groups, businesses, clubs and friends have decorated and put in a tree this year! Thank you to Tiarnie Ling for decorating this years Coorong Realty tree
CHRISTMAS FUN
On the 16th of December Coorong Realty celebrated International Ugly Christmas Sweater/ T-shirt day!
This year we thought we would get a bit creative! Christmas style 
We also had to consider that it could be too hot for sweaters because we live in mighty Australia! So we switched it up by wearing anything Christmas-themed!

5 YEARS OF LITTLE LOCAL CO
On the 12th of December, Little Local Co, the coffee shop on Railway Terrace, Tailem Bend, celebrated its 5th birthday!
The Owners, Neil and Amy Chinsami, celebrated by handing out yummy birthday cake-flavoured cookies with each coffee purchase. Five years - What an achievement for the local business.
Coorong Realty would like to say a BIG congratulations! We cannot thank you enough for supplying our daily coffee and cake fix!

Adam was instrumental in the strategic work that led to the amalgamation of the former Meningie Football and Netball Clubs with the Border Downs Football and Netball Clubs, This amalgamation resulted in the creation of a new entity. The Coorong Cats.
As the former President of the Meningie Football Club, Adam is well versed in what it takes to lead community through change - and we couldn't be prouder than to have him lead Coorong Realty.
